Abstract

The techniques of low-temperature nuclear orientation and nuclear magnetic resonance on oriented nuclei were applied to 2.9 y 102Rh after recoil implantation into Fe. The combination of both methods yields unambiguously the spin of the oriented state to be I = 6. The zero-field hyperfine splitting of 102RhFe was determined to be 285.66 (2) MHz. With the hyperfine field of −556.6(1.2) kG, the g-factor and magnetic moment of 102Rh are deduced to be 0.6733(15) and 4.040 (9) μN, respectively. The E2M1 mixing ratio of the 1047 keV transition in 102Ru was determined to be −5.7 (3).
