Abstract

We discuss the rotational perturbation effect on the electromagnetic properties of high-spin states in nuclear yrast spectroscopy, especially in connection with the analysis of recent experimental data. A possible occurence of triaxial nuclear shape at high spin is analyzed in terms of the properties of electromagnetic transition moments.
