Nuclear structure of 161Dy studied with (n, γ), (d, p) and (d, t) reactions

Abstract

The nucleus 161Dy was studied with (n, γ) and (n, e) experiments at Grenoble, ARC measurements at Brookhaven and (d, p) and (d, t) reactions at Munich. An extensive level scheme was established up to 1400 keV including about 180 γ-transitions and 13 rotational band assignments. The neutron binding energy was determined to be 6454.47 (9) keV.
