Abstract

Electron-photon cascade calculations have been carried out for 400 MeV electrons incident on a thick (infinite) copper target. The photon track length per unit energy from these calculations has been used in conjunction with a recently developed model of photonucleon and photopion production from photon-nucleus collisions to calculate the energy and angular distributions of high-energy photo-nucleons and photopions produced by 400 MeV electrons in a thick copper target.
