Abstract

The β-delayed neutron decay of 94Rb has been studied using neutron-γ-ray coincidences to reveal the partial neutron spectra associated with the feeding of excited states in the final nucleus 93Sr. Besides evidence for a resonance in the β- strength function of 94Sr the data result in p-wave neutron branchings deviating from optical-model predictions.
