Abstract

Precise measurements of a complete set of analyzing powers for the (d, t0), (d, 3He0) and (d, α0) reactions from 40Ca at Ed = 20 MeV have been analyzed in finite range DWBA. Deuteron tensor potentials and D-state amplitudes in a cluster expansion of the light fragments are included. From the data in the transfer peak region we obtain D2 (3H) = −0.20 ± 0.04 fm2, D2 (3He) = 0.25 ± 0.05 fm2 and D2 (4He) = −0.19 ± 0.04 fm2−
