Abstract

We have searched for new massive particles with a low charge to mass ratio in S -W collisions at a beam momentum of 200 GeVc per nucleon. Upper limits for the production of strangelets with a mass to charge ratio up to 60 GeVc2 at rigidities of ± 150 GV are reported. This study was done with a test setup using as a spectrometer the H6-beamline in the north area at CERN.
