Abstract
IN examining fungi for antibiotic metabolic products1, several were observed to inhibit the acid-fast Mycobacterium phlei. In view of the possibility of their inhibiting the closely related M. tuberculosis, the responsible materials are being studied more closely, and the present communication reports some results with a single mould which appear to be of general interest.
