Abstract

In 1964–65 and 1965–66 the Brookings Institution of Washington organized a seminar, originally under the title “Science, Technology and Public Policy”. In its second year the seminar focused on Government policy towards research in universities which is the principal topic of the book which is reviewed in this article*.
