Role of histamine in the hypoxic pulmonary artery vasoconstriction

Conclusion

This gives support to the hypothesis ofKapanci et al. [12], suggesting a direct action of hypoxia on contractile interstitial cells in pulmonary alveolar septa without release of any mediators.
