A study of the inhibition by cysteamine on the steroid 11β-hydroxylation

Zusammenfassung

Cysteamine hemmt die Steroid 11 β-Hydroxylase schwächer als Metyrapon, jedoch stärker als Dithiole. Der Cysteamineffekt ist an die Konfiguration −SH−NH− gebunden, welche die Bildung gemischter Disulfide ermöglicht. Es werden Unterschiede im molekularen Mechanismus der Hemmwirkung zwischen den drei Stoffgruppen angenommen.
