Depressant effects of major tranquillizers on contact hypersensitivity to picryl chloride in the mouse

Summary

Chlorpromazine, levomepromazine, thioproperazine, promethazine and haloperidol were found to significantly depress contact hypersensitivity to picryl chloride in the mouse, a model of cell-mediated immune response.
