Summary
During germination ofSorghum vulgare seeds, inhibitors of pea diamine oxidase appeared in the embryos. One was heat labile, dialysable and inhibited the enzyme in vitro, while another was heat stable and inhibited the enzyme synthesis when pea seeds were soaked and allowed to germinate in the extract containing the inhibitors.
