Abstract
We have measured absolute EUV emission cross sections for ionization-excitation of helium by H+, H +2 and H +3 (v: 1.4 to 8 a.u.) and e− (v: 3.5 to 8 a.u.) and the absolute emission yields for excitation of He. An interesting comparison is made based on three different mass and structural states for H+, H +2 and H +3 . Also examined is the comparison of H+ and e− projectiles which involves a large mass difference and opposite charge state.
