Lifetime measurements of three levels belonging to 4p 45d configuration of KrII

  • Published:
Zeitschrift für Physik D Atoms, Molecules and Clusters

Abstract

The radiative lifetimes of three levels belonging to the 5d configuration of KrII have been measured. The high frequency deflection technique with a delayed coincidence single photon counting arrangement has been employed. The lifetimes of the 5d 2 F 5/2 and 5d 4 F 5/2 levels have been measured for the first time.
