Summary
-
1.
The relation was established between the characteristic viscosity of polymethacrylate (in benzene at 27°C) and the average molecular weight, determined by the osmometric method [η]=2.95·10−3·¯M 0.52n The formula was found for the polymethacrylates with hydrocarbon radicals R from C7 to C12 and with average molecular weights from 3 · 103 to 3 · 104.
-
2.
The molecular weight distribution was determined for two samples of a viscosity additive-polymethacrylate.
