A study has been made of the oxidation of industrial oil “12” and of a solution of polymethacrylate in it, and the effect of several new derivatives of morpholine containing two or three morpholine rings in the molecule.

It has been shown that complex esters of alcohols of the morpholine series with acetic, diphenyl acetic, and benzoic acids inhibit the oxidation of thickened oil and of base oil.
