Abstract
The synthesis of several tertiary alcohols containing a pyrrolidine or hexamethylenimine ring is described. The stimulating properties of these compounds compared with pyridrol are investigated. It was found that the pharmacological activity in this series is determined by the number of methylene groups in the aza ring system. The most active compound is the one containing the piperidine radical.
