Conclusions

  1. 1.

It is confirmed that the “fluidization” phenomenon should be taken into account in calculations of the upper critical and maximum rolling speeds of powders.

  2. 2.

Calculations of the upper critical rolling speeds of powders should be made with allowance for the fact that during rolling air expulsion from the region of deformation in the direction of the least filtration resistance is not complete.
