Conclusions
-
1.
Diferrocenylmethyl and diferrocenyl-(phenyl)-methyl perchlorates and diferrocenyl-(phenyl)-chloromethane hydrochloride have been prepared. Diferrocenylchloromethane hydrochloride has been obtained in admixture with diferrocenylchloromethane.
-
2.
The reactions of diferrocenylchloromethane hydrochloride with phenyllithium and phenylmagnesium bromide and the reactions of the hydrochlorides of diferrocenylchloromethane and diferrocenyl-(phenyl)-chloromethane with cyclopentadienylsodium have been studied.
-
3.
Diferrocenylfulvene and diferrocenyl-(cyclopentyl)-methane have been obtained from diferrocenyl-(cyclopentadienyl)-methane.
