Transformed steroids Communication 131. Homologization of the D' ring in 16α,17α-cyclohexanopregnanes (D′6-pentaranes)

Conclusions

The most suitable synthesis for D7′-pentarane is the Dem'yanov-Tiffeneau rearrangement of the corresponding D6′-pentarane aminoalcohol.
