Dynamics of oblique cylindrical domains in orthoferrites

Abstract

The dynamic behavior of oblique cylindrical domains in YFeO3 crystals subjected to a gradient pulsed field is investigated. Asymmetry in the velocity of domain motion is detected along the projection of the easy magnetization axis in the specimen-plate plane. Anisotropy of the domain mobility in the basis plane, which is dependent on the crystallographic orientation of the specimen, is clarified.
