Abstract

In this paper we compute spherical figures of equilibrium resulting from the balance of toroidal magnetic field and rotation. These two distortion effects are assumed to act on rotating magneto-polytropic constant-mass sequences, that is, sequences with each of their members having mass constant and equal to that of the corresponding nondistorted model.
