Abstract
A rapid and selective method has been developed for the extraction of W(VI) with rhodamine-B in nitrobenzene. The extraction coefficient value for the extraction between aqueous solution and nitrobenzene showed a maximum value of E=63 at a pH of 5.0. The stoichiometry of metal to reagent has been determined by the method of substoichiometric extraction and slope ratio method.
