Acute hyperparathyroidism successfully treated by total parathyroidectomy and parathyroid autotransplantation

Abstract

Acute hyperparathyroidism occurs infrequently and sometimes represents a diagnostic problem in urological patients.

We report a case of acute hyperparathyroidism successfully treated by total parathyroidectomy and parathyroid autotransplantation.
