Cylindrical blast wave with radiation heat flux in self-gravitating gas

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento D

Summary

A similarity solution of cylindrical shock waves propagating in a uniform atmosphere through self-gravitating gas including the influence of radiation heat flux has been investigated. This problem has also been studied in isothermal conditions. The total energy of the line explosion is assumed to be constant. The solutions of the problem are compared with the results obtained in adiabatic conditions through figures.
