Measurement of the Kerr constant of He, A, O2, N2, H2 and D2

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento D

Summary

The Kerr electro-optic constant of helium, argon and of molecular oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and deuterium have been measured at room temperature and low pressure, by using a low-frequency-modulated electric field.
