Effect of an electric field on Ps formation in gaseous CO2

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento D

Summary

The yield of O-Ps has been studied in moderately dense CO2 with a static electric field applied across the gas. The results are shown to be consistent with recent models of Ps formation which have considered that Ps is formed in molecular gases by both Ore and spur processes.
