Abstract
Angular distributions of deuterons scattered from24Mg and89Y in the angular range 12 °→100 ° have been measured atE d=60, 77 and 90 MeV. With some exceptions the elastic and inelastic data were found to be described consistently by the optical model approach and by coupled-channel analysis, respectively. Collective model features of24Mg are derived from the inelastic scattering results.
