Abstract
The Q value of the144Sm(3He,d)145Eu reaction has been measured relative to Q values of the same reaction on92Mo,142Nd, and209 Bi target nuclei with a Q3D spectrograph. The mass excess of145Eu has been evaluated to be -77989 keV, which is smaller by 53 keV than the mass excess of the 1977 Atomic Mass Evaluation1).
