The statistical theory of nuclear reactions in the limit of isolated resonances III

Abstract

In two earlier papers, the statistical theory was considered in the limit of isolated resonances. The calculated quantity was essentially the compound nucleus cross section. Here, we complete those considerations with the correlation betweenS-matrix elements taken at different energies.
