Abstract

The high spin states in121Te, populated via the114Cd(11B,p3n) reaction at 60 MeV, have been investigated using γ-ray spectroscopic techniques. The level structure above the vh11/2 isomeric state (t1/2=154d) has been substantially extended uptoJ π=51/2 at an excitation energy of 8293 keV.Non-collective oblate states based on (πg2 7/2vh 11/2)21/2-,23/2- and (πg2 7/2vh 3 11/2)39/2 have been identified.
