Das Serumproperdin im Ablauf von Viruserkrankungen

Gemessen am Beispiel der Hepatitis

Zusammenfassung

Das Verhalten des Properdins im Ablauf menschlicher Viruserkrankungen ist von besonderem Interesse. Am Beispiel der Virushepatitis konnte gezeigt werden, daß das Serumproperdin in der ersten Krankheitsphase einen Tiefwert aufweist, der signifikant unterhalb des Normalbereiches liegt. Im weiteren Verlaufe der Erkrankung erreicht Properdin mit der zunehmenden Heilung allmählich eine Normalisierung. Bisher erscheint es nicht sicher möglich, aus dem Ausmaß der Serumproperdinveränderungen Schlüsse auf die Prognose einer Hepatitis ziehen zu wollen. Das Ausmaß des Properdinabfalls scheint von der Intensität der Virusinfektion abhängig zu sein.
