Summary
Detection and accurate grading of vesico-renal reflux is rendered difficult by the limited realiability of the different diagnostic procedures. Therapeutic decisions are therefore to a large extent influenced by the clinical situation. Properly performed antireflux surgery combines a high cure rate with a low complication rate.
