A three-dimensional analysis of the quasistationary leakage magnetic field of a three-phase transformer with disk windings is presented. A simplified mathematical model of the transformer based on Maxwell's equations has been applied. Computational results of the short-circuit reactance for the symmetrical and asymmetrical disk windings have been compared with analytical ones according to Richter's formulas [8]. For the magnetic field calculation, the finite difference method with the application of fast calculating subroutines has been used.
