Summary

A new procedure for the determination of the composition of binary liquid mixtures by the use of solvatochromic dyes is described. The analysis, which consists of a simple UV/VIS absorption measurement in combination with a two parameter equation, provides an exact and rapid test.

Zusammenfassung

Ein neues Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Zusammensetzung binärer Flüssigkeitsgemische mit Hilfe solvatochromer Farbstoffe wird beschrieben. Die Analyse erfolgt durch einfache UV/VIS-Absorptionsmessung und ist unter Verwendung einer Zwei-Parameter-Gleichung ein exakter Schnelltest.
