Changes in nalorphine-induced hyperprolactinaemia after bromocriptine or sulpiride administration

Summary

Nalorphine 5 mg im caused a significant increase in serum PRL in 8 healthy volunteers. Pretreatment with bromocriptine 5 mg inhibited the nalorphine-induced release of PRL, whereas sulpiride administration enhanced it.
