Summary
Measurement employing the concept of the centroid is the most accurate way to study the radiographic anatomy of the posterior fossa. The normal measurements in Japanese subjects and as reported by Ross and du Boulay correlated well. We have developed a new radiographic centroid based on the morbid anatomy of the posterior fossa. The normal measurement in the Japanese by this method is also presented.
