Abstract
Two-beam coupling gain and speed of a Cr-doped strontium-barium niobate single crystal at 514.5 nm and 632.8 nm are measured to compare photorefractive origins and responses. The same single deep center and single carriers are found to be responsible for the observed photorefractivities at both wavelengths. Self-pumped phase-conjugate reflectivities are also measured at both wavelengths.
