Summary

This is a report on haematomyelia associated with anticoagulant therapy, an intramedullary ependymoma and bundles of Schwann cells. The latter were associated with nerve fibres and were related to blood vessels. The Schwann cells presumably arise from Schwann cells of the spinal nerve roots and grow along the vessels of the leptomeninges and the parenchyma of the spinal cord.
