Radiation effects on NADH

  • Published:
Biophysik Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The decrease of NADH following ionizing irradiation was investigated over a concentration range from 10−3 to 5 x 10−8 M. The nonexponential function of the curve was discussed. TheG-values were calculated for different starting concentrations. The results were compared with theG-values for NADH following irradiation under enzymatic equilibrium conditions and with somein vivo investigations reported in the literature.
