Zur Frage der Lungen-Doppelcarcinome

Zusammenfassung

Auf Grund der Beobachtung zweier histologisch differenter Carcinome in einer Lunge wird unser Wissen von den Doppelcarcinomen der Lunge dargestellt. Die Definition des Begriffes Doppelcarcinom ist enger als von anderen Autoren gefaßt. Das Fehlen von Blutgefäßveränderungen der Lunge, die im Gefolge der Tumorembolie auftreten (M. B. Schmidt), scheint entscheidend für die Anerkennung als Lungen-Doppelcarcinom und geeignet, die Beschäftigung mit diesem Problem zuzulassen, dessen theoretische und praktische Bedeutung hervorgehoben wird und das bislang “mangels klar zu formulierender Voraussetzungen” nur ganz vereinzelt erwähnt wurde.
