Summary
A stillborn short-limbed platyspondylic dwarf is described. Detailed analysis of the X-ray and histological characteristics of bone and cartilage suggest that this infant represents a previously unreported variant of short-limbed platyspondylic dwarfism. The designation “Luton variant” is suggested.
