Abstract
Epidermal Nevus Syndrome (ENS) is characterized by linear verrucous lesions of the skin and congenital anomalies including bone deformities, eye and central nervous system (CNS) malformations. We describe a case of ENS associated with an abnormality of the carotid artery which is considered a risk for stroke.

La sindrome del nevo epidermico (SNE) è caratterizzata da lesioni cutanee verrucose lineari e da anomalie congenite dello scheletro, dell'occhio e del sistema nervoso centrale. Descriviamo un caso di SNE associata a malformazione dell'arteria carotide che può essere considerata un fattore di rischio per patologia cerebrovascolare.
