Summary
4 patients with non-homogeneous neurological and psychiatric symptoms, displaying evidence of essential cryptogenetic paraproteinosis are described. The distinct nature of this metabolic anomaly or derangement is pointed out and its pathophysiological implications are interpreted. In addition mention is made of a solid plasmacytoma of the cerebellopontile angle (case 5), which was verified by histology.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird über vier Patienten mit inhomogener neurologisch-psychiatrischer Symptomatik berichtet, die immunologisch Zeichen einer essentiellen, kryptogenetischen Paraproteinose boten. Auf die besondere Stellung dieser Stoffwechselanomalie oder -entgleisung wird hingewiesen und ihre pathophysiologische Bedeutung interpretiert. Außerdem fand ein histologisch gesichertes solides Plasmocytom (Fall 5) im Kleinhirnbrückenwinkelbereich Erwähnung.
