Summary
Electrophysiological examination of the peroneal nerve was performed in a group of individuals exposed for professional reasons to vapours of n-heptane.
The results suggest a probably specific rôle of this hydrocarbon compound in provoking “minimal” peripheral nerve damage.
Zusammenfassung
Bei einer Gruppe von Personen die aus beruflichen Gründen n-heptan Dämpfen ausgesetzt sind, haben wir eine elektrophysiologische Untersuchung des Peroneus-Nerven durchgeführt.
Die Resultate zeigen daß dieser Kohlenwasserstoff wahrscheinlich spezifisch einen geringfügigen Schaden des Nerven verursacht.
