Interface magnetic anisotropy in cobalt clusters embedded in a platinum matrix
2001, Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic MaterialsNa/K(H<inf>2</inf>O)<inf>n</inf> clusters produced by laser desorption of Na/K salt doped ice
2001, Chemical Physics LettersCitation Excerpt :This model also predicts that particles with different masses acquire similar centre-of-mass velocities [23], which is consistent with the qualitative observation on the mass independence of the cluster velocities, as noted earlier. Production of clusters in ion impact or in laser desorption experiments is now a well documented topic [30–35]. However, to our knowledge, this is the first time that solvated atoms are observed by laser desorption which thus appears as a relatively simple method able to produce highly solvated Na/K clusters.
