Epi-Ililic acid from Alcantara Ekmaniana

Abstract

The aerial parts of Alcantara ekmaniana afforded, in addition to known compounds, epi-ilicic acid. The furanogermacranolides isolated indicate a close relationship between this genus and other members of the same tribe.
