Abstract

A series of N-hydroxyurea derivatives based on substituted benzoxepin and benzothiepin templates was prepared and the compounds were evaluated for their ability to inhibit 5-lipoxygenase in vitro and ex vivo.

N-Hydroxyureas based on the benzoxepin and benzothiepin templates were prepared and evaluated in the in vitro guinea pig PMN 5-LO assay and the ex vivo dog model.
