Abstract

We report Bitter magnetic decoration of vortices in superconducting networks in weak magnetic fields. The networks consist of square grids made of submicron niobium wires. The vortex configuration is found to depend strongly on the frustration. Large domains of commensurate states are observed near low rational frustrations. We discuss the scenario of the decoration in the wire network geometry and compare our results with previous models of ground state configurations.
